Your child's day will consist of: Small motor skills. Example: Blocks, puzzles coloring, drawing, story time, circle time, singing songs, learning the alphabet, counting, art project consisting of the letter or
number of the week, music and dance, science on Fridays

Independence Day has
. Children want to be both dependent but yet independent. Our fully trained staff understands each stage of a child's emotional development and is very supportive during this growing process. This is the age where the children start preparing for pre-kindergarten.
The curriculum we use is Sing, Spell Read and Write. This program helps children learn letter recognition, the sounds of each letter of the alphabet and simple sight words. Children learn throughout the day singing songs, playing games, arts and crafts.
Discovery Worlds program contains activities to help children learn the following readiness skills: Letter Names, Letter Sounds, Opposites, Phonemic Awareness, Matching, Directional Concepts, Seasons, Counting, Coloring, Cutting, Pasting, and Tracing. Start children on the road to reading success!
Pre-school Readiness Program immerses children in more than 300 multi-sensory, hands-on developmental readiness activities that help them learn colors, shapes, and all other concepts that lay the groundwork for learning to read.
